Why would an airline refuse to board me?
Airlines check entry documents at check-in because they can be fined for carrying a passenger who is not admitted at the destination. The agent compares your passport, your e-Visa and your booking. Rules differ by airline and route, so a refusal at one counter does not tell you what another would do. What matters is the reason.

Can it be fixed before the flight leaves?
It depends on three things: the reason, the package and the time left. A speed-up on an existing file and a new application run on different clocks, and Vietnam works Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 11:30 and 13:30 to 18:00 (GMT+7). On a weekend or holiday there is a higher fee and a different cutoff. We tell you honestly whether a fix can finish before check-in closes. If it cannot, a later flight is the safer plan.

What if it cannot be fixed in time?
- Ask the airline about a later flight while the fix is in progress.
- Ask about change fees before you accept a new booking.
- Keep your e-Visa PDF and all messages, in case you need them later.
- Airline tickets are between you and the airline. We cannot refund them.

- Compare the PDF with your passport the day it arrives: name, number, birth date, nationality.
- Check valid-from and valid-to against your Vietnam landing date, in Vietnam time.
- Apply early, and check the status several days before you fly.
- Check passport expiry before you book.
