Vietnam Emergency Visa: Find Your Level

Not every "emergency" needs the same response — or the same price. Match your real situation to a band below, then use the sections underneath for anything that doesn't fit a simple speed choice.

"Every tier — from 30 minutes to 6 days — goes through the identical Vietnam Immigration review. Speed changes queue position, not approval odds."

Full pricing, every tier

ServiceTotal (single-entry, incl. govt fee)
Weekend / holiday delivery$230
30–60 minutes$215
1.5 hours$185
2.5 hours$155
5 hours$125
1 day$110
2 days$100
3 days$90
4 days$65
Normal (4–6 days)$50

Multiple-entry: add $25 to any tier. Already applied and paid the $25 government fee directly on evisa.gov.vn? Deduct $25 from any tier above — you only pay the "speed up" portion, since the government fee was already covered.

Speeding up an application you already submitted

If you applied directly on evisa.gov.vn and it's taking longer than you'd like, go to our site, select "Speed up existing visa", and choose the processing speed that fits your timeline — 1.5 hours, 1 day, or any other tier. Since the government fee is already paid, you're only charged the difference.

100% refund guarantee. If we don't deliver within the committed processing time you selected, you get a full refund.

Submitted with wrong information? Two ways to fix it

If you already applied on evisa.gov.vn and notice an error — a misspelled name, wrong passport number, wrong dates — you have two options:

Option 1: Wait for government correction

  • The government system sometimes flags the error and requests a fix within 3–5 days
  • In some cases, you may instead receive an incorrect visa that can't be used, requiring a full new application
  • No guarantee of which outcome you'll get

Option 2: Our correction service — $85

  • Contact us via our website, WhatsApp, or email
  • We request the government reopen your file and correct the error directly
  • Your visa updates on evisa.gov.vn — verify at evisa.gov.vn/e-visa/search
Combine correction with speed. Use our emergency service instead of the plain correction fix, and we'll verify every detail on your application, correct any errors by requesting the government reopen your file, and deliver on your chosen urgent timeline — one service instead of two separate fixes.

Weekend and holiday service — why it exists

Vietnam Immigration's office hours are strictly limited:

Mon–Fri
Only working days
8:00–11:30 / 13:30–18:00
Vietnam time, split by lunch

Applications submitted without weekend service simply wait until the following Monday for review to continue — no exceptions on the government side. If you need your visa delivered before 6:00 PM on a Saturday, Sunday, or Tet/public holiday, our $230 weekend/holiday service is the only way to get it, and it must be submitted and paid on our website — the government portal has no weekend option, no live support, and no refund if something goes wrong on their end.

Want to stay longer in Vietnam?

If your plans change and you need more time, you have two paths:

  1. Visa extension in-country — visit a Vietnamese immigration/embassy office to process an extension directly
  2. Border run — exit to a visa-exempt country like Thailand or Singapore, then apply for a brand-new e-Visa and re-enter. You must exit before submitting the new application, and send us a photo of your exit stamp so we can process it as fast as possible — even in 1–2 hours if needed
Order matters. You must actually exit Vietnam first — the new application can't be submitted while you're still inside the country.

Children need their own visa

Every child with a passport needs an individual e-Visa — attaching a child to a parent's application isn't valid and can cause both applications to be rejected. See our family and group application guide, or message WhatsApp directly for coordinated family bookings.

Filling in your entry date correctly

The entry date field is the most commonly confused part of the application. The rule is simple: enter the exact date you plan to arrive in Vietnam — your visa becomes valid from that date.

Choose the 3-month e-Visa when possible. This maximizes flexibility — you can still leave whenever you want, but you're not stuck needing a brand-new visa if your trip runs longer than planned.

Why government-site payments sometimes fail

  • System overload during peak season — your bank account gets charged, but evisa.gov.vn fails to record the application
  • Connection errors mid-transaction
  • Incorrect card or bank details entered at checkout

See our full guide on what to do if you paid but received no confirmation.

Government portal vs. our service

Government (evisa.gov.vn)

  • Pros: lowest cost, fine if you're comfortable online and have 2+ weeks buffer
  • Cons: no live support channel, fees never refunded for any reason, no emergency processing option, no weekend service

Our agency service

  • Pros: emergency same-day and weekend/holiday processing, 100% refund guarantee if we miss the committed time, 24/7 WhatsApp and email support, trusted by many customers — see our Trustpilot reviews
  • Cons: higher cost than applying directly

Frequently asked

Is the critical band less reliable than the routine one?

No — identical review standard throughout. Only queue priority changes.

Can I get a refund if the government's own system fails after payment?

No — the government portal never refunds fees regardless of the cause. This is exactly why our 100% refund guarantee applies only to our own service commitments.

What if my visa comes back with wrong information already printed on it?

Contact us for the $85 correction service, or wait for the government to potentially request a fix within 3–5 days — outcomes vary, so acting directly is usually faster.

Can I combine the weekend service with a correction?

Yes — our emergency service checks and corrects your information while also delivering on your chosen urgent timeline, including weekends and holidays.

Do I need to leave Vietnam before applying for an extension via border run?

Yes, exit first, then apply — send us your exit stamp photo so we can process your new e-Visa as quickly as possible, even in 1–2 hours.
