Your flight to Vietnam is tomorrow and you do not have a visa yet. US citizens cannot board without an approved e-Visa, but an urgent e-Visa can still arrive in hours. This guide gives you a plan from tonight to check-in: which package, when to order, what to send, and what it costs.
US citizens need an approved e-Visa before boarding. For a flight tomorrow, the hour packages are the safe choice: 5 hours $125, 2.5 hours $155, 1.5 hours $185, 30–60 minutes $215 (single entry, government fee included; multiple entry adds $25). They run on Vietnam working hours, Monday to Friday, so order at the right time of your day. Approval is decided by Vietnam Immigration and cannot be guaranteed.

What should I do first if my flight is tomorrow?
Which e-Visa package fits a flight tomorrow?
| Hours between your order and check-in closing | Package | Single entry |
|---|---|---|
| Under 2 hours | 30–60 minutes | $215 |
| 2 to 3 hours | 1.5 hours | $185 |

| 6 hours or more | 5 hours | $125 |
Count back from airline check-in closing, commonly 45 to 60 minutes before departure. Day packages (1, 2, 3 or 4 days) are counted in Vietnam working days, so for a flight tomorrow the hour packages are the safe choice. Flying in 2 or more days? Day packages start at $65. See our last-minute visa guide.
When should I place the order from the US?
Hour packages are counted in Vietnam working hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00–11:30 and 13:30–18:00 (GMT+7). During US daylight saving, Vietnam is 11 hours ahead of Eastern, 12 ahead of Central and 14 ahead of Pacific; after 1 November the gap grows by one hour.
| Vietnam time | Eastern (EDT) | Central (CDT) | Pacific (PDT) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8:00 – 11:30 (clock runs) | 21:00 – 00:30 | 20:00 – 23:30 | 18:00 – 21:30 |
| 11:30 – 13:30 (lunch) | 00:30 – 02:30 | 23:30 – 01:30 | 21:30 – 23:30 |
| 13:30 – 18:00 (clock runs) | 02:30 – 07:00 | 01:30 – 06:00 | 23:30 – 04:00 |
| 18:00 – 8:00 (closed) | 07:00 – 21:00 | 06:00 – 20:00 | 04:00 – 18:00 |
What this means for tomorrow's flight. An order placed during the US daytime waits until Vietnam opens that evening. An order placed in the US evening or overnight runs straight away. If your flight is early tomorrow US time, order today; do not wait until tonight. Official rules and application status are on evisa.gov.vn. Flying on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday? See the weekend and holiday guide ($230).
